Browsers
With browser targeting, you can configure impressions based on the user's browser. For example, you can serve ads for Opera, Safari, Google Chrome, and Mozilla to those who use Internet Explorer.
Set up targeting
By default, targeting is enabled for all browsers. Go to Targeting → Browsers and make sure that the desired browsers are checked in the list.
For some browsers, there's an option to target users by browser version. Click show versions next to the browser's name and select the versions you need.
To save the settings, click Change.
New browser versions
When a new browser version is released, Adfox adds it to the directory for targeting.
The current campaigns will check targeting, and the new version will be added as:
-
Enabled: If there was no targeting by browser (all browsers are enabled).
-
Disabled: If targeting to certain browsers was enabled.
The above logic for adding a new browser version can be changed to always allow new browser versions: the current settings of campaigns won't be taken into account. To implement this logic, contact support.
